Supplying PDF Artwork Using Bakershaw Adobe PDF Presets
Adobe PDF Presets are simply small files that contain certain settings needed to create a PDF a certain way. These files can be used with Adobe Creative Suite applications to create PDFs to precise specifications every time. The Adobe Creative Suite packages comes with default PDF presets already installed, usually including [Smallest File Size], [High Quality Print] and [Press Quality], to select when saving your PDF.
We have created a Bakershaw PDF Preset file for you to use when supplying us with PDF artwork. This will ensure compatibility with our workflow. Don't worry none of your previous PDF Presets will be overwritten and you can easily select which Preset you want to use when creating PDFs.

Follow these simple instructions for loading the Bakershaw Adobe PDF Presets into your chosen Application for it to be available when saving your PDF. Please note that you only need to do this procedure once for a single application for the PDF Preset to be available for use in all Adobe Creative Suite products.
Click on File in the menu bar, go down the list to Adobe PDF Presets then select Define...
This will open the Adobe PDF Presets dialogue box, click on Load... then navigate to where you downloaded the Bakershaw.joboptions file and click Open
Click on Edit in the menu bar, go down the list to Adobe PDF Presets then select Define...
This will open the Adobe PDF Presets dialogue box, click on Import... then navigate to where you downloaded the Bakershaw.joboptions file and click Open
Click on Edit in the menu bar, go down the list to Adobe PDF Presets then select Define...
This will open the Adobe PDF Presets dialogue box, click on Load... then navigate to where you downloaded the Bakershaw.joboptions file and click Open
Click on Settings in the the menu bar, go down the list to Add Adobe PDF Settings... and select it.
Navigate to where you downloaded the Bakershaw.joboptions file and click Open.
