The Local
Pub, 'The Horse Shoe Inn'. Situated approx. 1
mile away, at the end of Station Road, in an area called Aghalee. This is a traditional
pub, where you should be able to taste a real pint of Guinness!

- The Local Shop,
'Centra Filling Station'. This sells everything you could ever
want! Centra specialise in selling goods grown locally (where possible), and as well
as hot food and cold sandwiches, you'll find the staff very helpful and the locals
friendly.

- The Local Church
: Church Of Ireland. This is a grand, traditional Northern Ireland
church, and only a 5 minute walk from the house, with regular services held on a
Sunday. When you arrive, check out the church information board for exact timings as
these may change throughout the year.

- Takeaway food :
With a great kitchen in the Ballinderry Station House, there is ample space and facilities
to cook a delicious meal, but we all know the luxury of getting a quick takeaway on
holiday. For this, the closest takeaways are in a village called Moira (about 4
miles from Ballinderry) and there are a range of takeaway and some sit-in
restaurants. Takeaway food in Moira includes:

- Traditional Fish & Chips

: When you stay in the Station House, you are sure to spot the imposing Ballinderry
Antiques showroom at the bottom of the village. This is a great place to pick up
some lovely antiques and includes an adjoining gift shop.

With the cottage being based in the countryside there are several walks available, nearby
and locally.
