THE EDEN PROJECT
Built in a 60 metre deep disused china clay pit, the Eden Project is known by some as the 8th wonder of the world.

At the Eden Project are 2 biomes: one has all the plants from the tropical parts of the world and is beautiful and informative. The second biome is a Mediterranean type climate with olive trees, citrus and all the wonderful smells evocative of your holiday in Greece or Spain or France. In the spring it is a mass of colours with the Californian poppies. Outside are terraces full of trees and flowers, altogether a wonderful learning experience
