--Less than 1 mile from Launceston on the
Cornwall / Devon border, so we are ideally located to visit both the North &
South coasts of Cornwall and Devon. Conveniently placed between Dartmoor & Bodmin Moor, both
being about 20
minutes drive away, so although we are not on the coast many people find we
are in a perfect position to visit many areas. back to questions |

We are situated less than 1 mile from
Launceston, which has a wide range of small specialist shops selling local
produce, some very nice cafes and restaurants, a wide range of takeaways and
several pubs. Plus the ever present Tesco's supermarket now open 24 hours for
all the insomniacs amongst you. back

The closest beaches are about 16- 20 miles
on the North Cornwall coast ie Crackington Haven, Widemouth Bay, Bude,
Trebarwith Strand, Bossiney & Boscastle. For the surfing enthusiasts
Polzeath is a little further but is a favourite with locals. On the South Cornish Coast there is Looe and Polperro
about 25 miles. The weather can vary between the North & South coast depending
on wind direction etc so it is always worth consulting the local weather forcast
when on holiday. Bodmin Moor with the famous Jamaica Inn is 10 miles and Dartmoor
is 15 miles back

plus we also have cots and highchairs free of charge (must be booked in

roundabout and other toys in the games room and a big enclosed sand pit
and a swing in the garden. For the slightly older children we have a table
football and table tennis and a pool table plus outside an area for
football. We keep a small selection of videos and DVDs .back

animal (unfortunately the few pet owners that don't control their pets spoil it
for the majority) and there are a number of asthma & allergy sufferers who
are unable to stay

Our main advantage has be our position, all of Cornwall and most
of Devon is within an easy drive with all its wonderful varied array of scenery
and coastlines. We are also positioned in countryside surrounded by green
fields, but within easy reach (less than a mile) of Launceston which has all the
amenities you would need. Our swimming pool of course is a major attraction and
we have a lot of play things to occupy the children. back
