Caravan Site
Walnut Cottage is a registered smallholding. The great attraction of this property is the
wonderful views of the Wenlock Edge, which are best appreciated from the caravan site.
Over recent years the owners have found it necessary to diversify from farming
and the fields now are grazed by sheep and horses, with the occasional cow or two.
There are livery stables in the fields. The main buildings are grade 2 listed dating back to
about 1660.

The site has the benefit of electric hook-ups, chemical disposal,
rubbish collection, drinking water, and some all weather emplacements.
In 2009 a new shower and toilet block was added and is available to
customers for a slight additional nightly charge.
Customers can have the opportunity to park vehicles away from their caravans
if they wish to obtain the best of the views.

Much Wenlock is the nearest town
but all the other tourist areas of Shropshire are within easy reach.
The property is a few minutes walk from the English Heritage footpath and bridleway
of the Wenlock Edge which is itself an ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’.
