We appreciate that musicians are not always flushed with money and that cash flow is sometimes difficult. If for any reason a band has ended up in debt to us, it is vital to keep open lines of communication so that we can endeavour to reach an agreement on a schedule of repayment.

Due to the large amounts of bands and musicians that we deal with, it is not always possible for us to put our hands on the correct phone number when trying to contact someone with a debt. We are aware that band line ups can often change but we have to work on the principle of a band being responsible jointly and separately for any debt owed.

It is therefore vital for band members to negotiate fairly between themselves as to whom is liable for any debt and for this outcome to be communicated to staff at Big Fish.

Please note that we cannot act as judge and jury in disputes between band members, and band equipment held by us against a band debt will not be released until a payment arrangement has been made by individual musicians.

We have recently been made aware that someone may have been posing as a representative of Big Fish in an effort to gain payment from band members against debt owed.

Please note- we do not operate in this way. We do not ask for people for money on their doorsteps or outside of our premises.
