We now have qualified staff at Birch Pet Hotel who are trained to microchip your pet. It is a simple procedure which takes a matter of seconds and plants a small inert glass bead containing the microchip under your pets skin.

This microchip, which is the size of a grain of rice, transmits it's unique fifteen digit number to chip scanners that are activated near to it. The chip's number becomes your pets personal identification number. This number is then registered on the Petlog database (see link below for more information) and if your pet becomes lost or stolen they are traceable across the whole of the Uk (and the rest of Europe).
