Plymouth-Banjul Challenge 2007

Caroline is our God-daughter. She is 15.

Caroline is an amazing girl who leads a normal life at school. She plays the clarinet, she is in the hockey team and has been awarded academic scholarships.

Caroline needs daily physio and at least 70 tablets a day plus inhalers. She has also developed Crohn's disease in her mouth which means no food and a ng tube for 6 weeks during flare ups.

She is a beautiful girl who remains cheerful and uncomplaining and lights up the room when she enters.

Caroline's mum is Mary.
