Suzuki Sensei in Keswick Myself, Shirley, Jonny, Lee Douglas, Eva Clare, Richard Brewster,Emma Rampley and Shaun Cairns all went north to train with Suzuki Sensei. The weather was great, the scenery fantastic, and the course awesome. Some of us went under waterfalls and gorge walking beside the beautiful Youth Hostel on the shores of Derwent Water. More in our articles page later, but all who attended had a great time. WKA PREMIER LEAGUE Gold medals to:- Dale Noble Points--Harry Pilkington Points--Jamie Hudson Points Sam Higgins--Weapons---Silver medals to:- Jonny Campbell Points--Jonny Campbell Weaponry.Bronze medal to Sam Higgins Points--- Simon Ross, Ben Rowe, Jamie Hudson and Rachel Mayman are now members of the WKA England team going to Ireland, Congratulations! Gradings. We had a few gradings this weekend, Jujitsu and Wado; with a good turnout on a bank holiday weekend. Pictured are the junior Jujitsu group and the Wado group.
Our new club opened in St. Annes YMCA Wed April 30, a few kids turned up for the junior session and we were a bit daunted. I opened the doors at the end and a huge flood of adults came in! A huge welcome to new students there, hope you enjoy the journey. Here's a pic of the kids, too busy to remember the adults' photo!

WKA Nationals Harry Pilkington got double golds Reece Lomas Gold & two silver Sam Higgins two golds Jonny Campbell two silver All are eligible for the WKA England team for Ireland's World Championships. Ryan Allan and Michael Sanderson are first team reserves. Here's Harry winning another event recently, the FSK.
