Things to Do

There are loads of things to do within a few miles of Blacksmiths Cottage,
here are just a few of them.

The Isle of Wight hosts the UK's largest walking festival May. There are over 300 walks taking place. We are ideally placed for many of the walks which start locally, taking in some of the West Wight's AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty).

You will find walks for every type of walker; children, themed, casual, energetic and many more. Look out for details of the 2011 festival.

When you return home you can relax infront of the woodburner or enjoy some spring sunshine in the peaceful garden, according to the weather!

We have plenty of room at the cottage to store walking boots, coats etc in the spacious entrance hall.
