How To Book

To ensure the availability of the desired dates you require telephone us first at our Portsmouth number (023 9221 4480) to make a provisional booking. To confirm the booking we require a deposit of 25% of the gross charter fee together with the completed charter booking form. On receipt of your booking form and deposit we will confirm your booking in writing and send a receipt for the deposit. Where relevant we will also send joining instructions for the yacht.

Balance And Security

The balance of the charter fee and the security deposit will be required four weeks prior to the commencement of the charter. The security deposit, which will be banked in accordance with the terms of the yacht's insurance requirements, represents the excess of the yacht's insurance policy. In the event of an insurance claim being necessary the security deposit will not be returned. The cost of any minor damage, breakage or loss of inventory will be deducted from the security deposit as will the cost of fuel and gas where applicable, and the balance returned to you within fourteen days of the completion of the charter.

Insurance

All our yachts and equipment are insured on All Risk Yacht Insurance Policy with a minimum of £3 million third party cover. The Charterer is liable to pay the excess in the event of a claim. This is covered by the security deposit.

Cancellation

In accordance with the terms and conditions of the Yacht Charter Association Charter Agreement, the Charterer is liable for the full charter fee on signing the agreement. In the event of a cancellation at any time prior to the charter there will be no refund of the charter fees other than at the sole descretion of the Charter Company.

Notes

On the completion of the charter we would ask that the yacht is left as found in a clean and tidy state. Where necessary we reserve the right to charge for post charter cleaning should the yacht be left in a dirty condition.
