Summer Ball 2006

UPDATE - The final figure is not yet in but it's looking more like £1,800. What a great result !

Over 120 people enjoyed an excellent evening at the Summer ball. A really free and easy atmosphere, good food, a brilliant raffle, great music and a jar of Smarties - what else could you ask for !!!
Congratulations to W.Bro. Peter and all his helpers who proved that charity can be enjoyable. Well over £1,000 was raised for the 2009 Festival.

We are holding a Summer Ball at Halsey Masonic Centre, Cheshunt on Saturday 8th July 2006.

The evening will be reasonably informal (no long speeches etc.) but the dress code will be lounge suits, so no need to dust off your tuxedo or indeed to hire one, oh and for the ladies dress will be optional !!!

The evening will commence at approximately 7 to 7.30 pm and hopefully finish around 12.30 or 1 am (confirmation on times still to come).

The meal will be three courses and we will try not to let it drag on too much because the night will be mainly set on enjoyment for all i.e. drinking, dancing, more drinking, no seriously we want to have an easy night for all. We will have a raffle and will be looking for donations for prizes etc.

We have not had a ladies' night for a couple of years so it would be nice to see our ladies out with us again I am sure you would all agree.

Please invite your family and friends, everyone is welcome. The night will be for adults only to give your other halves a night off from the kids.

We have not yet got exact ticket prices but we will try to keep them as low as possible, this all depends on band or disco prices etc.
