Study

A recent clinical trial was done with 120 hypercholesterolaemic subjects who continued with their existing diets and calorie intake but added 150mg Sytrinol twice per day. Results after 12 weeks:

Cholesterol

Sytrinol™ works in the liver to balance the production of cholesterol by reducing the action of HMG-CoA reductase enzyme (which controls cholesterol synthesis) but does not block the production of Coenzyme Q10.

Glycaemic (blood sugar) control

Sytrinol™ has been researched for use in Syndrome X with positive results. Oral glucose tolerance tests showed improved glucose metabolism, reduced insulin production and a reduction in the subjects’ BMI (body mass index).
