"One of the most haunted places I've been..."

Welcome to Bodmin Jail

We are an all weather, family attraction, that includes a licenced bar and restaurant, covered courtyard, with a Civil and Naval Prison housing a museum within its walls split over three levels. It was the last county Gaol in the county and eventualy closed in 1927. The Jail now sits at the end of the famous Camel Trail and is the perfect alternative day out. Visit our gift shop selling local Cornish produce, beers and gifts for both children and adults alike. We look forward to meeting you soon.

P.S. - Be sure to check out the gift shop while your at the Jail, which stocks a wide range of local produce and all the Bodmin Jail souvenirs. Alternatively have a look at some of the items available here.
