Rosemari graduated in 2001, works as a Business Manager at a local primary school and is involved with Wilton Productions ~ a local amateur theatre group.
Samantha graduated in 2000, worked for the magazine 'Inside Soap' in London, wanted a 'change', so she went singing professionally on a cruise ship in the Caribbean ~ what a life! She's currently working on the Carnival Spirit, which has covered Alaska, Hawaii, the west coast of America and Mexico over the last eight months.
Andrew graduated in 2007 and having studied politics at Newcastle University, he then worked in the music industry in London, which included chaperoning Duffy to Paris (if you're over 40, you might not know who she is!). He gave that up, completed a Masters degree and is now working for a PR company in London and beating me too often at golf! He followed in his dad's footsteps earlier this year, by completing the London Marathon, but his steps were quicker than mine!
Yes, I enjoy a game of golf, whenever I’m able to, but I suffer with the 3 W's ~ Work, Wife and Weather! I also enjoy (given the time!) tennis, table tennis, swimming, go-karting, football, astronomy, chess, snooker, cards, theme parks, museums, the Lake District, steam engines, organising, writing, computing and almost any pudding with custard ~ sorry, but I'm not your typical, boring accountant!
Some years ago now, I used to run for fun, having completed the
Turning to matters accounting, I started as a sole practitioner in 1977; albeit in a small way, dealing mainly with smaller businesses and providing out of hours visits at clients' homes, which I still do. My experience is varied; I worked for a large firm of chartered accountantsfor twelve years and then moved on to be a company and group accountant. During this time, I qualified as a further education teacher and taught book-keeping and accounts, for a number of years.
I believe I charge reasonable rates and try to use my experience to help in any accounting, or other way I can. People like lists, so here you are ~
