Booking Terms & Conditions
The Contract All bookings will be confirmed, in writing, by
the Brackenrigg Inn to the client outlining both specific and
standard terms and conditions. It is in the clients’ own
interests to ensure that the stated terms are correct and
acceptable. Please contact
the Brackenrigg Inn
immediately if
you have any queries or the terms and conditions are not
acceptable
Deposit/Security All booking confirmations are subject to
the Brackenrigg Inn
receiving from the client
either a deposit (25% of
booking value) or security (credit/debit card details).
Please note that the deposit for online bookings is 20% and is
non-refundable under any circumstances. Cheque deposits should be made payable to
the Brackenrigg Inn. All deposits will be deducted from clients’ final
account. When placing a security, no transaction will be made
against the card except in the event of a cancellation or a
non-arrival (see cancellations below)
Final Account The client will be presented with a final account when
checking out of
the Brackenrigg Inn,
this will be for the
agreed value stated in the contract, less any deposit
and plus
any extra costs incurred during the stay
Cancellations In the even of a client cancelling a booking,
the Brackenrigg Inn
retains the right
to recover the following
cancellation charges:-
Over 4 weeks prior to arrival date ~ 25% of booking value
1 – 4 weeks prior to arrival date ~ 50% of booking value
Less than 1 week prior to arrival date ~ 75% of booking value
Non-arrival by a client on the contracted date will be treated
as a cancellation
Any deposit will be deducted from the cancellation charge
Where a security has been given, the cancellation charge will be
made against the card
Insurance The Brackenrigg
Inn
recommends that clients take out
suitable insurance
to cover any loss that may be incurred
in the event of a cancellation
