Medical
Centre: The
Surgery, Sandy Lane , Brewood , ST19 9ES
This is a purpose built medical centre, which is
staffed by five doctors and a team of nurses and receptionists. A full range of
services is provided, including ante-natal, family planning, child welfare,
asthma and diabetes clinics. An optician and chiropodist also operate from the
same centre on a part time basis. There
are branch surgeries at Wheaton Aston and Coven which are open during set hours
of most weekday mornings. Apart from emergencies, the surgeries and other
services operate on an appointment basis except at Coven which is open between
10.00 and 11.15 a.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays - but patients must register
at reception by 11.05 a.m.

Dental Surgery: Brewood
Dental Practice,
This is a one dentist practice
located above part of the Medical Centre but operating independently. Specialist
Hygienist treatment is also available and the Dentist is helped by qualified
clinical assistants. Treatment is given privately or through Denplan, but not
on the NHS. The surgery operates on weekdays except for Wednesday morning and
with some variations in opening hours. Further details are provided in a
leaflet and an occasional newsletter
available at the surgery.
