This is my Flevobike Alleweder which I have for sale. I bought it from Holland in Febuary. Bought on 10 Feb 2008 described as :- Excellent condition Total meegereden but 5000km [ weather permitting cycled ] No hairline in the soil and not play in the bottom bracket and indicator lights horn +km teller 3x7 speeding new chains + Zeilje Voltmeteork ? Some of the above was correct however the person adding the new chains etc did not know what they were doing. So what is for sale ? A Flevobike Alleweder - looks as though it has done 5000km Changed front ring from 65 teeth to 42 teeth suits the hills around here. New chains - yes New rear cassette - yes I bought and fitted the correct 11-28 Shimano Sachs 3 x 7 - now works ok after it was assembled correctly. .
Brakes getting better - New cables fitted and lever moved to left hand fork of control column Indicators - working now Bad bits Headlight not working yet - not wired up small dent and scratches down right-hand side , scratches to other panels. Reason for sale - ignored cardinal rule with recumbents - try before you buy ! - I cannot fit in it !
There is a strengthening rib on the inside edge of the cockpit which is triangular in shape , the cockpit tapers from the front [ 19" ] to the back [ 18" ] my shoulders are 20" wide and I have long legs meaning the seat needs to be all the way back. This means I am cramped inside and every time I go around a corner the edge of the rib is pushed into my upper arm muscles.
Asking £1200 ono. Assuming it is not raining it can be seen/ridden at Quibell Park on Saturday 24 May and the Nottinghamshire Cycle show on Monday 26 May. Please send me a email address if you want to see photographs Regards Paul
