Communion at Bromley Methodist

The Purpose of Bromley Methodist Church is to glorify God, proclaim the Gospel and seek to win people for the Kingdom of God.

Welcome, our mission is to...

... ensure there is a welcome here for everyone, including those who certainly do not feel very religious. We believe that as we come together as a loving human community with Jesus Christ as the centre, life takes on new meaning and purpose, and a new joy.

Our congregation comes from a great variety of backgrounds, opinions and interests. Some are Christians whose faith has been well tested. Some are still young in the faith. Some are still seeking for God, and some wrestle with a variety of personal problems. We invite you to worship with us or to come to one of our groups, so that we can get to know each other.

We are delighted to be welcoming our new minister, the Rev'd Karen George, and her family, to Bromley Methodist Church this month. Karen comes to us from the Trent Valley circuit in Nottinghamshire. We eagerly anticipate Karen's ministry among us and pray for God's blessing upon her and our church community at this exciting time.
Karen will lead her first service at Bromley Methodist Church on Sunday 6th September (10.30am), a service which will include Holy Communion.
We also extend a very warm welcome to the new superintendent minister for the Bromley circuit, the Rev'd Mike Cassidy. We look forward to Mike leading our Harvest Festival service on 27th September (10.30am).
Both Karen and Mike will be formally welcomed into the Circuit ministry at an induction service at West Wickham Methodist Church on Thursday 3rd September, at 8.00pm.
All are welcome.
