NOE

Your Junior Church has been sponsoring a young boy in Bolivia called Noe. He lives with his Mum and Dad and two sisters in a village in the hills of the country. We have paid towards his schooling by supplying paper, pencils, books etc. to the village teacher. We have watched him grow from a three year old lad to a young man of thirteen. His interests are soccer and gardening. Outside of school, he helps look after the family goat and sheep and tends the fields with his Mum. Noe attends his local church, in the school and loves to learn about how Jesus loves everyone.

Each quarter we receive a letter (and often a picture) from him. It comes in Spanish and is translated by someone in Tearfund. We respond in English and the process is reversed.

In our small way we are shows Jesus' love by helping Noe receive an education he would otherwise miss out on. No matter how much we moan about school, we all know that it would be very difficult to live without being able to read and write! The cost of this outreach is £25 per month; maybe you too would like to sponsor a child.
