Sian Griffith

Previous Bands:  Deiniolen Silver; Flixton; Wingates; Marple
  Sian started playing the tenor horn at the age of 8 with the Deiniolen Youth band. She then progressed to the senior band a couple of years later. Whilst Sian was a member of the Deiniolen Band, she was also a member of the National Youth brass band of Wales.

In 1993, Sian moved to Manchester to start studying at the University College in Salford. Whilst at Salford, Sian studied under Simon Stonehouse, Peter Christian & Sheona White.

During her time at Salford Uni, Sian played for the Flixton Band, then she later joined Wingates. Following her time at Wingates, Sian then moved to the Marple band, joining BT in 2001.
