We operate a fleet of 22 vehicles plated to up to 44 tonnes. Main Manufactures are ERF, DAF and Renault. All vehicles are fitted with cellular in-cab phones. Security is paramount and vehicles are specified with alarms and/or immobilisers. Every driver is issued with a container lock, which is fitted to the container doors as an additional deterrent.
Our fleet of 32 trailers is branded in Company colours to complement our vehicle fleet. The trailers range from Sliders, Split Trailer, Tipper and Rigid's. We are capable of carrying 1 x 20f, 2 x 20f, 1 x 40f, 1 x 30f and 1 x 45f containers up to 30 tonnes. The trailers are manufactured by Dennison, Schmitz and Maxi Lode.
Handling many moves a day, requires a sophisticated I.T. system to coordinate complex container logistics. At Buckley Transport, we are running the TOPS I.T. system for container transport to manage our transport operations including: electronic bookings via edi, route and resource planning and optimisation, service performance, fleet management, administration and accounts and billing.
Our Depot can store up to 100 containers, with our Heavy lifting machines lifting up to a 42 tonne capacity.
We at Buckley Transport believe in the highest security and we have Electric fencing all round the depot, 2 Guard dogs and security guard on over the weekend to ensure that your containers are protected in the best possible way.
We also have a small purpose built workshop on site which comprises a 4,800 square foot unit with 2 pits. This enables us to repair any of our trucks or trailers and even minor container repairs.
