If you are planning to leave your relationship, what should you take with you?
If you decide to leave in a hurry it might be difficult to know what to take. Here are some ideas of things which might be important to have with you when you leave:
- identification
- birth certificates for you and your children
- school and medical records
- money, bank books, credit cards
- keys - house/car/office
- driving license and registration
- medications
- change of clothes
- welfare identification
- passports, visas, work permits
- lease/rental agreements
- house deed
- mortgage payment receipts
- current unpaid bills
- insurance papers
- address book
- pictures
- jewellery
- items of sentimental value
- children's toys or items
