We can help you find the right sort of information and support for your situation, we can discuss your situation over the phone and if needed help arrange some safe accommodation for you and your children. Don't worry if you haven't got transport as we can help you with this.

If you are planning to leave your relationship, what should you take with you?

If you decide to leave in a hurry it might be difficult to know what to take. Here are some ideas of things which might be important to have with you when you leave:

  • identification
  • birth certificates for you and your children
  • school and medical records
  • money, bank books, credit cards
  • keys - house/car/office
  • driving license and registration
  • medications
  • change of clothes
  • welfare identification
  • passports, visas, work permits
  • lease/rental agreements
  • house deed
  • mortgage payment receipts
  • current unpaid bills
  • insurance papers
  • address book
  • pictures
  • jewellery
  • items of sentimental value
  • children's toys or items
