London Eating

Spacious and authentically decorated family-run eaterie right on the High Street serving Mexican fare. Fajitas are brought sizzling to the table and burritos are fat and well-packed; prices are very reasonable. Good range of Spanish and Mexican beers and an excellent tequila list. Nice atmosphere and friendly service -
would highly recommend. ¡Arriba!

Review by Homer

A brightly coloured restaurant & bar offering a Latin taste with it's Central American feel, Café Sol breaks the mould of the other bars in the immediate vicinity. Packed with tables for two, sample dishes including the Fajita salad (£6.95) and the Chargrilled and marinated chicken (£8.95) appear to be good value, if wanting to eat on a Friday or Saturday book a good week in advance.

In the evenings things really kick off as customers fuelled by assorted Jose-Cuero Tequila push the tables aside and grind Latin-style through to midnight and beyond.

A good warm place to pick you up, if you're fancying
some of the Latin spirit that ís in every one of us,
watch out for that tabby.
