| Calvary Baptist Church was formed on 1st January 1972 as a direct result of the merging of the two Baptist fellowships of Hope, Canton and Victoria, Riverside – both well-established Fellowships. The Calvary church occupies the former Hope building on Cowbridge Road East. |
