Terms and Conditions

  1. A deposit is required to cover risk value.  The risk value of each item is non negotiable.
  2. In the event of loss/damage to an item hired the risk value becomes    immediately payable. 
  3. The hire charge is payable on all items hired, even if items are not used.
  4. Items not returned by agreed date are subject to pro rata extended hire      charges
  5. All goods remain the property of The Candle Store.  Title at no time passes         to hirer even if extended hire charges/cleaning charges exceed hire value. 
  6. The hirer is responsible for ensuring all items are fully covered by insurance        for the hire period. 
  7. No warranty is offered as to suitability for original use and no responsibility accepted for consequential loss to person or property.
  8. All payments are subject to and include VAT @ 15.0%.
  9. Hire items may not be new and may have signs of reasonable wear and tear.
  10. Items to be returned in same condition and cleaned where necessary.         Cleaning charges will be levied if items are returned dirty.
  11. The Hirer accepts all responsibilities and liabilities once items have left our premises.
  12. The Hirer undertakes to take all safety measures for hired goods compliance     with safety and fire regulations.
  13. No claims accepted if hirer not present on return. Any diversion from the        above must be made in writing prior to commencement.
  14. All shortages, damage and losses will be chargeable and deducted from the       hire deposit.
  15. If client not present for delivery/collection no claims will be entertained for incorrect order or breakages.
