The Mother’s Union Branch at St James is a small part of an organisation to which Christians all over the world belong, many members being in Africa, Asia and the Far East. The Mother’s Union cares about issues and national policy affecting family life in our societies.
At St James our Branch is part of Kingswood and South Gloucestershire Deanery, which is in the Diocese of Bristol. Members attend Deanery and Diocesan events, as well as a monthly Branch Meeting. We also arrange outings and social events, to enable us to have fellowship together.
Out meetings are on the first Tuesday of each month at 2pm in the Church Hall, Richmond Road. Occasionally this may vary or be an evening meeting – full details are printed each month in the church magazine. New members are always welcome – as are visitors to any of our meetings.
