Like Little Acorns, Primary Praise is 'doing Church' in an informal setting where all can feel relaxed. It is mainly for Primary Age children and their families.

We meet in the Mangotsfield Primary School hall at 9.30 on the third Sunday of the month.

 

Our first meeting was in March 2007 when we didn't have a name! However, after a few times together, the children and parents came up with the name 'Primary Praise' and one of the children has drawn a picture which we currently use as our logo:

The aim is to enjoy being with each other and with God and getting to know Him as a loving Father. We have plenty of joyful singing, make use of a data projector with the words and some pictures. We usually have an activity, such as acting out a story in which the families can join in, a story and refreshments to finish with. It lasts about half an hour before we have our drink and biscuits during which time the children can do some colouring or other craft related to the theme of the day.
