Champions

Champions are volunteers who stand up for other people with a learning disability. They find out all about their subject and become experts. they ask people with a learning disability what they think, and tell the people who make decisions what we want. The Champions have volunteer Buddies to support them.

Making Our Voice Heard

This is a meeting where you can come and talk about things that are important. Someone from the meeting is elected to go to meetings with the council to tell them what we think.

The meetings are in Canton House once a month. They are on a Thursday from 10.30am till 12 midday.

November 6th

We will be talking about Supported Housing. Come and tell us what you think about your house - good or bad!

Dec 4th

Cardiff Young People First will be telling us about their Action 4 Access project.

Cardiff People First Community Voices will tell us about their Hidden Lives film.
