Carers Together in Redcar & Cleveland is an independent registered charity which is dedicated to improving the quality of life for carers who care for someone living in Redcar and Cleveland.

The organisation registered as a charity on 24th March 2003 following two and a half years of development work to identify the needs of carers. It is led by a management committee comprising 50% carers and is committed to inform, support and represent the needs of carers.

The organisation has played a significant role in raising awareness of the carer’s role and in the improvement of many services.
