We continuously strive to provide carers with a diverse range of social activities and information events.

Our social activities are funded by carers fundraising events, local businesses and grants which allows us to provide day trips, parties and other fun events, giving carers a well deserved break and chance to have some “me time”.

Our events cover a wide variety of topics including finance, health, social care, wills and probates and we are joined by professional speakers from relevant organisations who are able to answer your questions.

Some of the events listed may not be organised by Carers Together but may be of interest to carers.

Carers Together

Carers Craft Group

Join our carers craft group at The Old Co-Op Building, Loftus every third Friday from 10.30am. Future dates: 18th November 2011, 9th December 2011, 6th January 2012, 27th January 2012, 17th February 2012 and 9th March 2012.

Carers Computer Courses

Dip in and out of our free computer course at Destinations, 18 Station Street, Saltburn. Every Friday 2pm - 4pm.

We regularly organise computer courses for all abilities at South Bank Library. If you are interested in joining a computer course get in touch and let us know what you would like to learn about!

Luncheon Group at Poverina Inn, Normanby

Carers get together for lunch on the last Wednesday of each month at 12.30pm to meet with friends old and new.

New Marske Carers Group

Do you look after someone and would like to join a group of people in similar circumstances? This group meets once a month from 10am - 12 noon at Sure Start, Birkdale Road, New Marske. New members are welcome from any area of Redcar & Cleveland. Next meeting Wednesday, 16th November 2011.
