Description
Ash Ranges are an MoD range complex to the west of Bisley near Farnborough. Set in delightful heath and woodlands, there are broad pistol ranges and deep rifle ranges.
The Electronic Target Range (Etr) at Ash is the scene for LERA's annual "Enfield Challenge" competition : a not-to-be-missed occasion for Enfield Rifle enthusiasts.
Getting there
From the Luton area, take M25 to junction 12, M3 to junction 4, A331 towards Farnborough, left at A3011 to Ash Vale, right onto A321. The entrance to Ash Ranges is on the A321; as you drive south down A321 from Ash Vale station, look out for a sign "Ambulance Station" and turn left up Pine Close.
