IT’S SERVICE TIME!

The next Club competition starts now – and it will be SERVICE.

Not shot it before? Well it’s a bit quicker than PP1, but the targets are bigger and its even more fun. And you’ll only need 24 rounds of ammunition for each detail.

Once again, the event is run for both full bore and small bore rifles, and any type of sights are permitted. Both classes use the same targets (those big brown and black ones). The rules are simple (the RO will tell you what to do before giving the command to load and make ready), but basically you have to shoot faster as you get closer. Why not enter and see how you fare?

Seven rounds will be shot, but just your six best scores will count – so if you make a complete mess of one round, all is not lost!

FREE  ENTRY!

As with all Club comps, there are no entry fees – no fuss. And a pair of handsome trophies await the winners. Just write the Round Number and your name on the appropriate target BEFORE you shoot.

When you have completed a card, place it in the ‘shot cards’ drawer in the wooden cabinet. Your cards will be collected and scored weekly, with the results pinned on the notice board – and also published on the Club’s internet site.

NOTE:

It is worth remembering that those competing in club events take priority at the range, and that competitions start from 8.45pm. Therefore, if you want maximum ‘lead in the air’ time, then perhaps you really should consider entering!

Have fun!
