Party to Murder - A Play
Upton Dramatic Society was established in 1934. It shows two different plays a year (December and Easter) and allows local charities and branches of larger charities to raise funds by holding a raffle each night.
CHAPTER thanks the society for inviting us to run the raffle and so benefit from the proceeds and programme sales of this spring performance. CHAPTER also thanks donors of the raffle prizes, contributors are: - Oddfellows, Bar Lounge, Harkers, Dilley Decorators, Backford Belles, Upton Dramatic Society, CHAPTER- Garden project and Wood ‘n’ Gardens project for their contributions.
CHAPTER would like to thank their staff and volunteers for helping out. CHAPTER displayed banners and leaflets showing the logo and information.
The play itself was an intriguing ‘Murder Mystery.’ It was a captivating and well produced play, the actors and director displayed exceptional talent. There was a warm atmosphere and all organisers and helpers were very friendly. A thoroughly enjoyable evening and well recommended. |
