CB Projects was founded in 2000/01 by Chenine Bhathena. It is one of the most exciting producing houses in the UK, committed to developing innovative new work across all art forms, with an emphasis on visually and physically groundbreaking material.

Chenine has been involved as a consultant producer, artistic programmer/adviser in developing a range of programmes over the last few years, including The National Circus Development Programme (pilot), Circelation and more recently the East Midlands circus development project. These initiatives have all tackled the national strategic objectives of the circus arts sector in the UK and have

We offer a range of services to our core clients including: creative development support and planning; fundraising; marketing; tour booking and management; organisational development; financial management; trouble shooting and general administration.

Our clients have produced new work in association with UK venues/producers including: Newbury Corn Exchange; The Drill Hall; Brighton Corn Exchange; Birmingham Rep; Lighthouse Poole's Centre for the Arts; Manchester's Contact Theatre; Croydon Clocktower; Circus Space; Made In Brighton Ltd; Martin Sutherland Productions Ltd; and Richard Jordan Productions Ltd.

Our core work over the past five years has been in developing and building new audiences for innovative and cutting edge contemporary cross-artform work. Without audiences our work would be futile, they are at the heart of our exploration and development and their connection with the work allows us to take the work forward. Our clients offer opportunities for meeting artists after shows; they offer workshops and masterclasses, as well as a free mailing list so that audiences can be kept up to date with forthcoming shows.
