Six years

Q. What do you get up to during the week?

School and hanging with friends.

Q. What brought you to the church?

I decided when I was very young that I wanted to become Christian and as my parents were not Christians I spoke to my Grandmother Dallas who took me to church with her, and this is her church.

Q. What excites you about the church?

Meeting people my age in the same positions as me, praising God, and hearing the Bible teaching.

Q. How would you like to see the church grow?

I would love to see more youth and more new Christians. I would also like to see the church increase the selection of styles of worship, eg. Gospel style.

Q. How long have you been coming to Christ Church?

For two years.

Q. What do you get up to during the week?

I work as a Finance Administrator for the University of London's Careers Service.

Q. What brought you to the church?

I moved to Peckham to do a gap year with Springboard for Children, a charity working with children in primary schools in Peckham. A friend who worked for the charity brought me along to Christ Church on my first Sunday, and I loved it! Everyone was very friendly and it was really easy to settle in and get involved in the life of the Church.

Q. What excites you about the church?

We often have new people arriving at the Church and it's always good to see new faces. I'm excited by the Church's vision to be reaching out to people in Peckham by doing events on the estates and for the youth, visiting people and inviting them to Church. I also find the teaching challenging, but love the way we are encouraged to live the Word through the power of the Spirit!

Q. How would you like to see the church grow?

I would like to see more local people coming to the Church, especially families. I would also like to see the Church grow even closer together in community, serving and loving as we encourage one another in our faith and in reaching out to the lost and needy
