Our Vision

To be a local, multicultural church, living in the Word by the power of the Spirit

Our Values

A local church - Most people who come to Christ Church live within a mile of the building and our aim is to help Peckham people follow Christ

A multicultural church - We are a multiracial church shaped by Kingdom values, with people from many different cultures and countries. A great way to see this is if you come to one of our communion lunches, once a term, where you can eat food from around the world.

We are committed to working out the vision of Galatians 3:28 “There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.”

Our church is part of the Diocese of Southwark and we have connections with the following organisations:

Our Beliefs

We are a charismatic, evangelical Anglican Church, which believes in:

The amazing grace and love of God for the whole world, which He made, but which has rebelled against Him.

The uniqueness of Jesus Christ as the only Son of God.

The sufficiency of the death of Christ as the full payment for the sins of the world.

The absolute necessity of faith in Christ to receive forgiveness of sins.

The gift of the Holy Spirit to all believers, who equips us with gifts and power to live for Christ and serve Him in this world.

The wonderful expectation of heaven for all who put their trust in Christ.

The authority of the Bible for life and conduct in this life.
