Run by the Robertson family for the past twenty years, the Commercial Hotel has a strong bond with the local community. As well as operating a high standard of accomodation and hostelry, we also encourage many local activities from sponsoring local competitions to taking part in various fund raising events.

The running of the hotel was taken over by Guthrie Robertson in 1986, and thereafter manged by Guthrie and his son's Gary and Graeme (The three G's), the Commercial hotel has since undergone many changes.

Not only have the premises been refurbished, but an ongoing desire to provide the best service to our visitors has led to many additional services being offered by the hotel.
