Continuous Professional Development - Training days
Connect Christian Counselling Service run a number of CPD Training Day's - these are for existing counsellors and
counsellors-in-training,. and cover a variety of subjects.

Come and ‘play’ – the emphasis will be on your own experience with a chance to consider how you can facilitate this work with clients. The creative approach taps into another part of ourselves that bypasses thinking defences and manoeuvres. Talking and thinking come later to make sense of what has emerged from deep within

The content of the course will include:-
-the beliefs and messages we have about sex and sexuality and how they help or hinder us;
-the language - words and phrases - that people use when talking about sex and their body, and our feelings about these;
-how comfortable we are about our own sexuality and how this might affect our work with clients;
-how well-informed we feel about sexual matters and possible client scenarios
