The Contented Sole™, under the management of Andrew Hemingway and Stuart Burbidge, has been rejuvenated to the original standards which earned the restaurant an enviable reputation in Burnham-on-Crouch and the surrounding area.

With many years of experience, including tutelage from household names such as Michel Roux and Antony Worrall Thompson, you will be treated to excellent food at reasonable prices, cooked to order using fresh local produce wherever possible.

The Contented Sole™ has been established since 1963 and is set in an 18th century building situated at the end of the High Street in Burnham-on-Crouch, close to the river.
