About Us

The Contented Sole™ was re-opened in August 2007, and under the management of Andrew Hemingway and Stuart Burbidge, has been rejuvenated to the original standards which earned the restaurant its enviable reputation in Burnham-on-Crouch and the surrounding area, as you can see from the reviews.

The partners met about ten years ago while working together in a restaurant in Surrey, and have many years of experience between them.
