About Us

The Contented Sole™ was re-opened in August 2007 under the management of Andrew Hemingway, Stuart Burbidge and Hamid Salah, and as you can see from the reviews has been rejuvenated to the original standards which earned the restaurant its enviable reputation in Burnham-on-Crouch and the surrounding area.

The partners met about eight years ago while working together in a restaurant in Surrey, and have over 50 years of experience between them.
