Our Christmas Day Menu is available at lunchtime on 25th December 2009.
All of our dishes are cooked to order using fresh local produce wherever possible.

Starters

Wild mushroom and truffle soup
Game terrine with red onion marmalade and melba toast
Home cured gravadlax with fennel and shallot compote
Scallops baked in their shell with oriental vegetables and a thai dressing
Tempura tiger prawns with an oriental dip

Main Courses

Trio of turkey, ham hock and roast beef with seasonal trimmings
Roast Pheasant with dauphinoise potatoes and crushed spiced carrots
Natural smoked haddock with pancetta mash, spinach and a soft poached free range egg
Crepe fruit de Mer - lobster, scallops, monkfish and tiger prawns with seasonal vegetables
Butternut squash, goats cheese and chestnut tart served with a mixed salad

Desserts

Nan's homemade Christmas pudding with brandy butter
Dark chocolate french tart with crème fraîche and wild berry coulis
Bread and butter pudding with vanilla ice cream
Selection of British cheese and biscuits
