Cornwall Refrigerated Transport Services Limited (CRTS Ltd.) is based at Bodmin in North Cornwall and provides a service to customers operating in the Cornwall and West Devon area.

We are specialists in the service and repair of transport refrigeration equipment and portable coldstores.

We offer a 24-hour breakdown service.

We hold a Carrier Transicold sub-dealership but are also trained and qualified to maintain all makes of transport refrigeration/ portable coldstore unit.

We operate from fully equipped mobile workshops; therefore we can attend breakdowns and maintenance at your site with the confidence of having most regularly used parts instantly available.

Receiving on-site attention at a time of your convenience ensures that ‘down-time’ to your company is kept to a minimum.

All engineers are qualified in refrigeration (see personnel details) and pride ourselves on a very high standard of workmanship.

Although we specialise in transport refrigeration, we are also able to maintain auto-air conditioning and cold room equipment.

We hold fully computerised records to ensure your servicing is kept up-to-date and provide detailed invoices and monthly statements.

Fixed Price Service Contracts

We offer a range of service contracts ranging from fully comprehensive all-inclusive packages to labour and travel only.

We thoroughly recommend regular servicing of your refrigeration units to ensure maximum efficiency and reliability.

Examples of service contracts include: -

Option 1

All inclusive contract maintenance package including all parts, labour, travel and 3 monthly servicing. All breakdowns would be covered by this policy.

The advantage of this type of contract is the fixed monthly costs enable you to budget accurately all your refrigeration maintenance costs.

Option 2

Labour and parts maintenance cover to include labour and travel to 3 monthly servicing and breakdowns, but no parts used.

This would be advantageous if you wanted the reassurance of a regular service of your vehicles with most of the costs budgeted for, at a cheaper price than the all-inclusive package.

Option 3

Service only contract. This would cover parts, labour and travel for 3 monthly servicing, but breakdown costs would not be covered.

This would ensure that your units receive regular servicing, providing a cheaper option to options 1 and 2.

Option 4

Servicing and repairs are invoiced as and when the work is carried out at the relevant labour and travel rates.
The advantage of this option is that you pay for what you get!

Contract Servicing is usually carried out at your site during the normal working week.
Service records of each unit are kept and a courtesy phone call will be made to inform you that servicing is due and to arrange a mutually convenience time.
Monthly statements will be sent of your account.
