Jennie began making her distinctive Mister Bear collectors bears in 1990, after a varied career in window dressing, fashion, ceramics, and theatrical costume,

Based on the original Edwardian designs with long limbs, big feet and back humps, Jennie’s bears are often dressed in period clothing using original vintage fabrics and accessories.

Quintessentially English in style, her treasured character bears, including Soldiers, Sailors, Pirates and Clowns, have become popular with collectors the world over.

As one of the longest serving British Bear Artists, designing and producing “one off” and “small edition” traditional bears, Jennie is still able to say that she finds the art of bear making to be an all consuming passion.
