The aims of my school are to have fun and at the same time, train children to use their imagination, control their bodies and push themselves to achieve high esteem and self-confidence. Dance has long been recognised as an ideal method of learning and improving co-ordination as well as being an enjoyable way of addressing health and fitness issues. Dance recently has become a more widely recognised qualification and the I.S.T.D. has spent considerable time ensuring that their syllabi are recognised by national awarding bodies.
Dance examinations of the R.A.D. and the I.S.T.D now offer NVQ status, and this is recognised all over the world. Currently the government is highlighting the importance of exercise in the prevention of illness, heart disease and obesity— so now is an ideal time to start.
The school includes all generations, to come along and improve their fitness from 30 months Baby Ballet classes to my Take a Chair Class and Keep Fit 50’s + class, Adult Tap and Salsa-Fit, Dance Aerobics and Hip Hop
