IT Management

Who is the service for?

Here are two possible scenarios.

You run your own business and you rely on your computer. You are good at your chosen activity and have an appreciation of information technology but don't really have the time (or inclination) to get too deeply involved . If you haven't personally experienced any difficulty with your computer, you certainly know someone who has .

You employ several people and most of them now have access to a computer. It is likely that you were convinced by the arguments that the computers should be networked and maybe the commercial imperative of doing at least some of your business on the internet. Staff have picked up an appreciation of the technology and maybe have attended one or two courses. A senior person has been nominated to carry most of the responsibility for IT, although qualified in another discipline.

Why should you enquire about this service?

It really comes down to whether or not you believe your IT systems should be managed. In both scenarios illustrated above, the likely weak points are contingency planning and security, really because everyone is busy and says 'we've done okay so far'.

Issues such as upgrading, software purchases, support, training, recruitment, capacity planning and so on, are always going to be easier to resolve.

What should you do now?

If you have read this far, then you already have a list of matters on your 'to do' list or in your mind.

Contact us for a discussion; all it will cost is a little of your time.
