MEDIATION
MASTER CLASSES 2008
As part of its Advanced Mediator programme, MATA have
arranged a series of four Master Classes, open to both
practising commercial mediators and non-mediator guests and
based upon the following format:
• Interview of a prominent commercial mediator
• Identification of two key techniques used by the
mediator
• Workshop on the two techniques led by MATA Faculty
• Question session

5th February 2009: Alan Limbury
Founder member and former Chair of LEADR, the foremost
mediation body in Australia. Barrister and international
mediator.
5th March 2009: Beverly-Ann Rogers
One of the top female commercial mediators in the UK.
Barrister, vice-chair of the Bar ADR Committee.
2nd April 2009: David Plant
Pre-eminent US lawyer and commercial mediator. Specialist
IP mediator. Author of “Resolving International
Intellectual Disputes”.
7th May 2009: Heather Allen
Superb trainer and facilitator with particular focus on
cross-cultural. Board member of Civil Mediation Council.

cost:
£75 + VAT (£88.13) for each Master Class payable to MATA or
book all four for £250 + VAT (£293.75). AMT Club members
(those who have attended the annual MATA Advanced Mediator
Training Course) have 20% discount.
