FURNITURE - JAM CUPBOARD

This hand-crafted and painted piece of furniture was designed for a lady in Herefordshire who made her own jam. As it was to be positioned in a corridor, the design team had to include space saving features. The picture shows the two solid oak pull-out tables which create the work surface, then push back when not in use.

The second image shows the workmanship involved, detailing the tongue and groove on the round posts and the castellated cornice.
