 Knabhall
Cottage is one of three cottages set in a rural location down
a quiet country lane having splendid panoramic views from the
grounds of the whole surrounding area with Riber Castle sitting
on the horizon overlooking Matlock.
Excellent walks exist in all directions from the property. Gardens, grounds
and sitting out areas are shared for both cottages.
It should be noted that Knabhall,
Whitelee and Stayley Cottage can be booked together – it is possible for up to 10
guests to dine together in one of the cottages.
The recently renovated farm buildings are situated in an elevated
position, the buildings dating back some 200 years.
You access the accommodation through the imposing stone arch, and to
your right the main entrance door leads into the hall, off which is the
kitchen, which is well fitted with all the essential equipment you will
require for your stay. A further door leads through into the lounge dining
area.
Off this room is the third bedroom which has been adapted and is
suitable for people with disabilities or a mobility problem, having two
single beds and its own en-suite bathroom with shower, hand basin and
toilet.
The stairs from the main hall lead to the two remaining bedrooms,
exposed beams giving each room character, one having a double bed the
other having two single beds. The main bathroom on this floor has a bath,
hand basin and toilet.
