The accommodation
enjoys some splendid views across the surrounding countryside. The barn
has a private garden with paved patio sitting out area and lawn to the
front, and has the additional benefit of the majority of the accommodation
being at ground level, making it suitable for people with mobility
problems.
The main entrance leads into the
spacious lounge dining area, which also has an oil effect coal
burning stove, Off this room down a single step is a bedroom
with two single beds. Opposite this room is the main bathroom
with bath, hand basin and toilet. A staircase from the lounge
leads to the open plan galleried landing area off which there
is a bedroom with double 
bed. From the lounge and off a short corridor is the kitchen
which is well equipped with all the essentials you will require
for your stay. There are two remaining bedrooms one with two
single beds, vanity unit, en suite shower and toilet, the second
with double bed, en suite shower and toilet and external door
access.
Excellent walks exist in all directions from the property. Gardens,
grounds and sitting out areas are shared for both cottages.
It should be noted that Knabhall,
Whitelee and Stayley Cottage can be booked together – it is possible for up
to 10 guests to dine together in one of the cottages.
